As someone who was born under Mercury retrograde, I've always had a complicated relationship with these times. The concept of parallax makes so much sense here, given that Mercury is the god of (among other things) communication, and his retrograde time is when he's in the Underworld. Time to lift the covers on our own personal Underworlds, I suppose.
